Step 3: Create a Bill of Sale
Private car sales in Alaska require a bill of sale. Alaska, on the other hand, does not have an official bill of sale form. Step 4: Change the title

This document, like the bill of sale, must be signed in the presence of a notary. Both the buyer and the seller must complete the applicable areas on the back of the title.
